friday favorites :: hair edition

This Friday's favorites is going to be focused on hair products. I won't be including shampoo + conditioner, because I don't have any of the bottles to photograph!

ion's Anti-Frizz Solutions is from Sally's, it's 12 fl oz and I believe cost around $10. I don't use it as much as I'd like because I shower at night and don't like to put leave-in conditioners in my hair overnight, but during the school year I tend to use it a lot more.

It smooths my hair and doesn't leave a greasy residue. The smell reminds me of hairspray, but it isn't as harsh and doesn't last that long. It's made in the USA, which is really great. Their products used to say no animal testing, but I don't see it on this bottle so..?

The Bed Head 'After Party' smoothing cream has been a favorite of mine since I was a freshman in high school. It smells so good and makes my hair soft and frizz free. I remember all of my friends going to my locker between classes to use it (ahh, bonding). However, it is really expensive. My bottle is one I bought in high school, aka when I had disposable income, and I don't think I'd repurchased at full price now. It retails for $21 at Ulta or $19 at Walmart.

I love hair masks. Especially Hair Food's Moisturizing Hair Mask. I got mine in a $5 Target beauty box and I've been in love with it since. The 6.3 oz bottle retails for ~$12 at Target. It smells exactly like mangoes with a hint of honey and my biggest complaint is that I wish the smell lasted longer. I love using it after using heat on or dyeing my hair as it does an amazing job of making everything smooth and soft again.

One'n Only Argan Oil's Restorative Mask works just as well as Hair Food's, but it's not my absolute favorite because I've never been crazy about the smell of argan oil. However, I am crazy about the effects it has on my hair. It's amazing for helping with knots and frizz and the results last all the way until I wash my hair next. I got this at Sally's during a BOGO free sale.

Thanks for reading this week's Friday faves! I'll see you soon!
